Movie Adoration

I have a total craving for a movie right now. Husband’s been promising me a trip to the movies for a while now, so maybe we’ll get around to it this weekend. I want to watch one of the new movies — Star something or other — or maybe 1408, the new scary flick. I hear it’s a great movie. A few of my clients recommend it because it was so scary, and not in the gory way.

I’m a huge fan of movies, and even movie theatres. In university, Will and I used to go to the movies almost every weekend. He was my awesome possum movie buddy, and I miss him horribly (and not just for that reason!). I love going to the movie theatre, buying the ticket, gettin’ in line at the concession stand watching the popcorn machine cycle itself and pop out new popcorn, finding our seats and then waiting patiently in the uncomfortable theatre chairs for the movie to start. I don’t know — there’s something so comforting about it all. I think it’s because when I was a kid, I was never allowed to go to the movies, so now that I have all this freedom as an adult, I really revel in this simple joy.

Hey you! Don’t forget about the Simpsons flick, if you haven’t seen it yet :)

Also, I seem to have misplaced your password for protected posts…help?

Check out the movie called Sunshine. I thought I was going to hate it but instead I was on the edge of my seat for the entire thing. The whole idea of it is a little far fetched yet I was still fascinated.

Wow that’s a lot of movies you guys gave me there! Hmm… I’ll check out the Simpsons flick with a friend, since Dave insists he won’t spend any money on a Simpsons episode. lol I’ll rent out Sunshine. :D And Rush Hour 3? Isn’t that, like, Dad’s style, Sisser?

I’ve never been to Tinseltown.. I don’t think so, anyway! Wow, reclining chairs… ooooh…
