Random Life Loveliness

Is it funny that I still love how wonderful it is to be married? Granted, it’s only been about 3 weeks into the marriage, but goodness, it’s put such a lift in our relationship. Is it always this wonderful being married? Hehe. After eight years of being an official “couple,” I can’t believe how new it still feels everyday. I smile whenever I think of him, and I still go giddy whenever I think of our wedding. Yeah, I would say that’s pretty darn weird, I think, but I suppose I wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s nice to be in love, and it’s nice knowing that we’ve lasted not only this long, but that the fire is still there. I see Husband, and I think, “Gosh, he’s handsome.” What a wonderful life we have. :)

It’s weird too, because since I’ve been wearing my wedding ring with my engagement ring, more people have noticed there’s something on my finger. I think it’s because the wedding ring is the same size as the engagement ring, so it doubles the “object” on my ring finger. Since I have such tiny hands and thin fingers, the two together make such a noticeable sight that you can’t help but, well, notice it right away. I’ve had a couple of clients ask me, “Wait… were you even engaged?!” Weird. Heh. Yeah, only for about a whole year and a half, is all!

I must go back to yoga tomorrow. I skipped last weekend because I needed to catch up on some sleep and organizing / cleaning the house. Now I really need yoga, as my back is starting to hurt and I want more energy running through my veins. Plus, I miss Marita and Doris something fierce. I’ll have to go tomorrow. It will be nice to do downward dog and the sun salutation.

Jen, from work, is getting a puppy!! Zoey, I think, will be the pup’s name. So cute. I’m excited to meet the brand new addition!! Everyone’s all excited. Every time someone gets a pet or talks about getting pregnant, there’s this big buzz around the office. It’s so cute. Heh. We’re like this one big family full of giddiness and excitement. I guess that’s what it’s like to work with a whole bunch of counselors and stuff. Every occasion is a special occasion, like my wedding, Jen’s new puppy, Dori’s upcoming wedding, etc. It’s nice to work in such a supportive environment.

Now, if only the cases wouldn’t go into chaos and crisis all the time, I think our jobs would be just about perfect! Oh, and minus all the paperwork!!
