Renting Out a Pseudo-Dog

Anyone want a really, really cuddling kitty? Neither Dave or I can get anything done right now because ever since we got home from Gabriola yesterday, she’s been following us non-stop and demanding a cuddle from both of us at least once every 5 minutes. Last night I barely got any sleep because the furball insisted on constantly laying right on top of me (and she weighs almost as much as I do :P), and sleeping on my chest or on my bladder the whole night, well into the morning and even after Dave left for work. It left for a very uncomfortable Pixie, and a tired one when I woke up too. Not to mention, by the time I got up at around 8am, I was so ready to go to the bathroom because the darn furball was sleeping on my bladder the whole night.

Right now, she’s rolled on her back on Dave’s lap, insisting that she get a constant, full-attention belly rub at all times. Every time he reaches for his keyboard, she swaps his hand back and makes herself more comfortable, full on her back and against his chest. And if it even feels to her that he’s not paying complete attention to her, she gets up, and crawls all over his shoulders and head butts his face until he kisses her back and gives in for another full-on, belly-up cuddle. The fuzzball is something to talk about. She’s hilarious. I’ve never seen a cat so attention-seeking before!

So, anyone want to borrow a really cuddly kitty for about a day, so we can actually get some serious work (read: internet lazying around) done?
