Among bathroom renos, we’ve also been looking to get a new ceiling light for our living room, especially one that would be a little more energy-sufficient. We’ve got most of the house on those cool energy-sufficient light bulbs, whatever the heck they’re called, but our living room one isn’t yet. I don’t think the bulb fits, so I want to be able to change the entire thing and put in a new one. Our dining room is so darn dark, even with these stupid lights on, that it’s really ridiculous. I like living in light. Those energy-saving lights are really neat too because once we started using them, our plants have been more vibrant. They really love these lights. They’re like sun substitutes or something. Our plants grow in a way that reaches towards these lights, like how sunflowers bend towards the sun. It’s really neat, actually.
