Well I was a productive housewife today. Cleaned the living room, the kitchen, and vacuumed the whole house. The living room looks reaallly good. We use our poor dining table as a laptop table, so we pulled both of our computer chairs out here and leaned the real dining tables against the wall. LOL What nerds. Unfortunately, because we did that, the room always looks a bit “off” because of these big, giant computer lounge chairs in the middle of the dining room. So I have to clean it out and make sure it looks “tidy” even though it looks off.

Dave put together our dinky little file cabinet we got from Walmart as a Christmas present. Yeah, that was more than 9 months ago, but we’re slow-going sometimes. Unfortunately, the second file cabinet we put together didn’t go so well. It came with a broken sliding thingie, so now the bottom drawer doesn’t open quite as smoothly, and files can’t be hung on it. It looks really sturdy and beautiful, but it’s not very functional. That’s what we get for shopping at Walmart. First time in about freakin’ 8 years, and the first thing we bought from there turns out to be a piece of shit. Dave said it promptly enough: “It’s like a bimbo. It’s only good to look at, but it doesn’t do much else.” Hahah.

So now I’m stalling actually doing some real work paperwork. I should get all these things done before Tuesday, when I go back to work, because I know there are new case files waiting for me and I have to close the old ones first before I start the new ones, otherwise I will never catch up. Yikes!!
