Dave gets his morning routine down pat. He wakes up, grumping a good morning (or not), and can’t have a decent conversation or even crack a smile without his morning coffee. Everyday, he goes out and gets his coffee, and comes back home in 15 minutes. Sometimes, I think those espresso machines sound really good, or even a simple coffee machine. He insists not, and that’s okay. Heh. It’s his routine. It’s kinda cute, actually.

Everyone has their own morning routine. I have mine. It includes taking a shower. I have to take a shower every morning, even on weekends. During this whole renovation thing, it’s really screwed up with my everyday routine, sometimes taking showers at Jenbug’s house, sometimes taking baths late at night at home because we don’t have shower doors or curtains in our new tub yet, and sometimes I go without a shower or bath for a day. That feels the worst, I think. I can’t take that. Routines have a way to keep us scheduled. It’s kind of odd, really. Do you have an odd routine too?
