While thinking of something to get Dave for Christmas, I came across OpticsPlanet.com, where they have a variety of all of Dave’s favorite things, from telescopes to goggles and binoculars to even strange and unusual flashlights. I think I may end up going to this site to peruse through their huge selections of gift giving ideas and actually end up getting Dave something from there. He loves gidgets and gadgets like these. We got a telescope a few years ago that we hardly use because it’s a little hard to focus and learn all these strange buttons, so I may end up getting Dave something more useful and user-friendly. Not to mention more powerful. Their best sellers is a good list to start with too, given that most of these things Dave would be ecstatic to get for Christmas. He’s easy to please: he’s a total geek meister.
