Is it already Sunday? My, how the weekend flies. I’m so confused as to how much (or rather, how little) I got done this weekend. That’s okay, because the house is still clean and I’m still here. This weekend was more about relaxing than working. Dave and I have been daydreaming about how our weekends will change once Baby Bean is here. We usually stay in on the weekends, but with a new baby, we want to change our lifestyle just a little bit, to include more sunshine, outings, trips to the park and especially the beach. Maybe we’ll invest in one of those cool “Bed in a Box” platform beds to be able to take with us on camping trips. There are so many opportunities and so many ideas. Having a baby is pretty cool.

I think my mind is just about gone, too. I can’t think about anything but things that have to do with “baby.” Furniture buying, baby, getting the room together, baby, extending my visitor’s visa so I can extend my healthcare, baby, saving money, baby. Everything has to do with “baby.” I’m not really into working anymore, besides trying to catch up with all my paperwork so that when I leave, I leave on a clean slate. I can’t wait to just have Bean in my arms to hold. It will be fantastic. I can’t wait to see how much this changes us as a family. A new stage in life.
