The thyroid issue has only been since I got pregnant. Before that, it was because I just had really fast metabolism. Sorry, I wasn't being clear.

I feel pretty healthy, though I know that since I've got hyperthyroid issues, I have to be careful about losing more weight, so I have to remember to eat at least three times a day, regularly, and fully.

Wow... I knew it was just part of your body naturally as it was that you were so naturally small and fast-metabolismed however, I had no idea that it was really due to a thyroid problem... I hope they can help you fix it so you feel healthy! :)

oh i'm pretty happy with the way i *look*... i'm comfortable with being thin (aside from being called anorexic when i was younger, like emily). i'm just hoping i don't lose more weight cuz of this thyroid thing... and health is my main concern. i get annoyed that i'm called "lucky" for having thyroid issues just so i can lose weight.

I have to say that I'm quite comfortable with my weight. I'm at 165lbs, when I first got pregnant with D I was 127lbs. I would love to be 30 lbs less, but I'm not going to go out of my way to get there. I'm healthy as far as I'm concerned, I eat the proper food, drink more than my fair share of water, and I chase after the boys all day. I like the way I look, which is surprising since I'm about 40 pounds over the average height-weight ratio for my size.
I certainly hope you can come to the conclusion that you are happy with the way you look, and that it happens in a healthy manner. Hope there's nothing serious to come about from the thyroid thing!

I have the same "problem." I don't necessarily feel it's a a bad thing, I guess because I'm so used to it. I do eat a lot, it's just my metabolism is also fast. I hated the "Are you anorexic?" questions when I was younger, though. I hope everything is OK with your health!
